An epic tale discovering the mysteries of Arunachal Pradesh, northern India, on a  Hero Impulse and shanks’s pony, this book makes for a great ride and read. Personal, geographical, political and humorous, this adventure illustrates our constantly changing world and our own human fragilities. Sometimes I got lost with who is who regarding the characters she encounters, but that’s probably just me. An engaging work by a very skilful wordsmith which I would thoroughly recommend.
