Getting a bit long in the tooth now, Great Escape makes for easy reading with Monty’s engaging style if a little over described at times. Living life as a crofter for six months on the Scottish west coast is pleasant enough but a dream for most of us, especially if you don’t work for the BBC. Made me want to visit Scotland and Skye again though.
