This is a very engaging tale of a hardy, resourceful ‘woman’ biker who was decades ahead of her time. If like me you are an ex-biker this is the sort of journey you wish you’d attempted. Travelling across the globe in 1982 via America, Australia, Asia and Europe on her trusty BMW, her highs and lows, loves and losses and the seemingly insurmountable logistics are all documented in this easy to read story. Frustrated by the macho jealously she encountered on her triumphant return this book has only been recently published. A book that makes you realise we are all capable of achieving our dreams despite the wishes and thoughts of others.
