Kent and Sussex Shoreline Walk

Walk 23 – Newhaven Harbour to Saltdean, Sussex

This section of my Kent & Sussex shoreline walk has to be one of my favourites so far – Newhaven Harbour to Saltdean, West Sussex.

A glorious cliff top path teases with stunning panoramas of the return shoreline route, as the slowly receding tides reveals a rocky shore veined with chalk.

Walking back, white cliffs are a constant companion while a concrete walkway makes it easier going for others.

This is truly a lovely walk, made all the better by the summer sunshine; which made a change!
