Winchelsea Museum

Housed in one of Winchelsea's oldest buildings, the Court House, this fascinating museum is one of those places that makes you think, 'well, I never knew that and I've lived here for years'.

Wall hanging oak boards list the town's mayors since 1430, while glass cabinets depict the town's life over the centuries. I wish I could find artifacts this good. The coin and clay pipe collections are exceptionally good.
