Julie's House

It's amazing what you can find when you are driving around looking for a wee spot.

This wonderfully wacky home, the brainchild of artist Grayson Perry, tells the story of a fictional woman, Julie Cope.

Inside is even more outlandish and eccentric with a moped hanging from the ceiling just for starters. But to witness the interior, first you hall to rent Julie's House first. A previous visitor described it as living in a migraine. The mind boggles.

You can walk to Julie's House, also known as a House for Essex, via a track at the end of Black Boy Lane near Wrabness train station.
