Shoreham Fort
A rare example of our military heritage that is not owned by English Heritage or the National Trust, and it's FREE to enter. It would be rude not to give it a visit.
A now Scheduled Ancient Monument completed in 1857 and of experimental design, this superb fortification sits proudly on Shoreham beach, one time defender of the harbour and town.
