Lullingstone Roman Villa
Chronicling the life of a Roman villa or farm, the ruins of Lullingstone illustrate just how technically advanced the Romans were. How many homes today can boast bath suites, stunning mosaics and wine filled cellars? There is a short film which gives basic facts (enough for the likes of me), although I hope they didn't pay too much for the light show.
There are artefacts aplenty with concise descriptions, no information overload which is refreshing. Viewing the ruins from a balcony, you can see in some respects we have not advanced that far. Being undercover this is an ideal visit for a rainy day. Quia nunc vale.
