Emmetts Garden
Perched upon a sandstone ridge overlooking the Weald of Kent, Emmetts Garden is a delight for all Capability Brown wannabes. The grand Victorian house (private) overlooks the formal rose garden, not yet in bloom as we visited in March but there was still plenty of spectacular colour.
During the year the gardens sparkle with a popular blue bell walk in the hillside woodlands, magnolias that make you stop and stare, sweet alpines in the rockery, daffodils a plenty and the air heavy with the scent of roses. A lovely spot to re-visit to watch the changing of the seasons.
