Ashburnham Place

Run as Ashburnham Christian Trust, the history of the Ashburnham family can be traced back to the 12th century.

The house which stands today was built in the 17th century and added to over further generations. The grounds and garden benefitted from a Lancelot 'Capability' Brown makeover in the 1700s, some of which survives today.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy the parkland for free or visit the Orangery Tea Room for some rather nice tucker. For a lot more information on this very pleasant spot, visit Ashburnham Place.
