Walk 56 – Fishbourne Channel to Bosham, Sussex
It's a grey and bleak January day as I start the hike from Fishbourne Channel to the delightful village of Bosham, West Sussex.
Unfortunately due to lack of access (private land with no footpath), I have to skirt Bosham Hoe to the Itchenor Ferry point near Furzfield Creek. The 'bit that got away'.
From the Ferry point though it's a glorious shoreline path following the Bosham Channel to the historic, Bayeux Tapestry mentioned, Bosham.
If you have time, it's a must at Bosham to watch the incoming tide reclaim roads and submerge signs.
