Walk 60 – Danger Area to Cockleshell Hard, Isle of Grain, Kent

If you like industrial buildings, the walk from Lees Marshes Danger Area to Cockleshell Hard, Isle of Grain, Kent is for you.

With the Grain Power Station as a backdrop, The Flats stretch out before you.

Look out for the Grain Tower, grey and forlorn on the sands. There is a causeway to it at low tide.

For such an industrialised area, there are good stretches of shoreline walking.
