Leysdown-on-Sea to Harty Church, Kent

After leaving the colourful amusements of Leysdown-on-Sea, it's a nice shoreline stretch to the hamlet of Shellness and Shell Ness beach, Kent.

To the church at Harty, the path follows the boggy shoreline bordering the Swale National Nature Reserve.

Return to Leysdown-on-Sea was a cross-country affair, following a wide reed protected ditch across Leysdown Marshes.

A twitchers paradise, look out for many species including the glorious Marsh Harrier.
