Walk 42 – Conyer to Milton Creek, Kent
Conyer, sitting on Conyer Creek, Kent is a pretty place. Full of yachts, barges and boats, it's a place where vessels come to rest up for a while.
My route follows the Saxon Shore Way hugging The Swale, dividing the mainland and the Isle of Sheppey.
Along the way there are wrecks to discover preserved in a gravy of mud, and look out for a slither of causeway at Folly Spit.
I returned along country lanes and paths via Little Marston Nature Reserve. For a better journey though, retrace your footsteps and gaze at the returning tide.
