Littlehampton to Felpham, Sussex

It's amazing how a small stretch of water can divide two totally different terrains.

The town of Littlehampton sits on the east bank but cross to the west shore, and the skyline is dominated by sand dunes and groynes. Perfect.

Part 32 of my shoreline walks takes me from West Beach, Littlehampton to Felpham just outside of Bognor Regis, Sussex.

Today the wide sandy beach is littered with filleted and gutted fish plus all manor of flotsam, some I won't mention.

Passing shore defences at Elmer, the tides have created crescent shaped beaches, more noticeable on the return.
