Seven Sisters cliffs

There are some beautiful walks to be had along the Seven Sisters cliffs. A nice 'there and back' is from Exceat following the Cuckmere river to the haven, then along the Sisters to Birling Gap on the South Downs Way. The route is very obvious, even I couldn't get lost. If you're feeling adventurous, take a path inland to explore the magical Friston Forest. There's a lovely church at Westdean, Friston Place and the historic village of East Dean with its delightful Tiger Inn pub. Sherlock Holmes is buried here too.
