Jevington to Alfriston
Distance: 7 miles – 3.7 miles SDW
Starting at St Andrew's church in Jevington (there is a car park in the village), the bridleway gently climbs to Holt Brow before levelling out at the iconic Windover Hill. From here the wide chalk track drifts gently down to a tree lined path, then onto the flat banks of the Cuckmere river. Crossing a pretty white bridge leads into Alfriston and a welcome cup of tea. To make a circular route, return over Winchester's Pond from Lullington Court before rejoining the SDW before Jevington.
