St Peter and St Paul church, Peasmarsh

Sitting atop a hillock near Peasmarsh Place, this ancient place of worship is best approached by footpath over fields from the village. Dating back to early 12th century, it is Norman with later additions.

Outside, look for the couchant lions set in relief, resplendent in red stone. Wandering the graveyard there are some unusual headstones to be found.
