Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve
Spotted this little gem whilst returning from Eynsford. Home to five good sized lakes with trails, hides and wheelchair access all over 73 hectares. Not only ideal for bird watching, the ever changing seasons bring the place to life. During the year you can see warblers, grebes, orchids, fungi, teasels, snipes, amphibians and much more.
The centre is free to enter and houses a comprehensive display of stuffed birdlife and mammals; interesting if not a little macabre. Only a fleeting visit but will return, in the sunshine hopefully.
