Walk 43 – Milton Creek to Long Reach, Kent
Phew! The heatwave has hit Kent and the mercury is hitting 30˚C. Luckily there's a gentle breeze cooling the Saxon Shore Way from Milton Creek to Long Reach, Kent.
An interesting stretch of estuary shoreline dotted with factories, a small working port and of course, the Sheppey bridge.
From Long Reach the hazy outline of the Isle of Grain can be seen, separated by the river Medway.
Returning via Iwade, and the pub, it was a great day out despite the heat.
