Out and about
I love to explore. Castles, country houses, ruins, piers, gardens, beaches, nuclear sites, the list is endless…
Listed below are just a few of countless places I have visited over the years. Most are in Kent and Sussex, two counties I have lived in for over half a century. I shall add more as I swan around the country looking for new and different locations.
Please note: due to the internet's limitless coverage on just about everything, my descriptions are short and sweet. My photographs, I hope, will do the destinations more justice. Many are owned by the National Trust or English Heritage. See their websites and numerous others for full details of opening times, admission charges, etc.
